What's New at Family Search,        2025 was a Breakthrough Year!

presented by: Suzanne Hoffman

(the speaker will present in person)

Full-text search capabilities, Family Tree duplicate merging, AI assisted indexing, these are just some of the major changes made to the FamilySearch website in 2025. Come join us to find out about all the improvements and how to use them.

About the Speaker. Suzanne Hoffman, "The Genealogy Maven" is the Immediate Past President of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the current President of the Illinois State Genealogical Society as well as its Advocacy Chair and the APG Representative to the Records Preservation and Access Coalition. She also holds chair positions within APG for two other groups, The Forensic Special Interest Group, and the Jewish Research SIG. It is no wonder she calls herself a professional volunteer. She spends 7 hours a week as a volunteer at the Wilmette FamilySearch Center and runs one of the largest childrens' ski club in the Midwest (as a volunteer). When she actually does genealogy, she specializes in Immigration and Naturalization, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Eastern Europe.
