documented research and to publish genealogical and historical information in
a newsletter six times a year.  Non-members are welcome to attend our meetings.

There is no such thing as "one stop genealogy shopping"! This program will lead you through the resources and search techniques for the three big UK and Irish databases: FindMyPast, ScotlandsPeople and RootsIreland. Learn what's new on these databases, how you can apply them to your research and how privacy and information rights impact your quest for records.

In addition to sharing fellowship with like-minded genealogists at the monthly meetings, members receive an informative newsletter six time a year. An additional benefit of membership is the opportunity to participate in one of our three writers' groups. The groups meet once a month on Mondays: at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 7 pm.

We are pleased to partner with both the Glenview and Northbrook libraries. Be sure to stop by and become familiar with their genealogy resources.

If you need help getting started with your genealogy or solving a genealogical problem come to a monthly meeting and meet others willing to help you. The first Wednesday of each month, our volunteers are also at the Northbrook library from 3 to 5 pm for Drop-in Genealogy. Come to the second floor.
